The UNITE series gives the UNC community the opportunity to begin or continue conversations in relation to diversity, equity and inclusion across a broad range of identities. The UNITE program is made possible in parts thanks to the generous donations of WeldWerks Brewing Co.
Campus community members can learn how they can engage with the UNITE program by checking out the Faculty/Staff and Student portals below.
Offered Programs and Workshops
Student Portal
Students complete the UNITE Program by registering for the cohort and then attending educational trainings throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. Students must first attend the Equity and Inclusion Foundations workshop before signing up for other trainings. If you are unable to attend this workshop, please contact UNITE@cnof86.com about alternative options. Students who complete a certain number of workshops by the end of the academic year are invited to an end of year celebration and call to action.
Faculty and Staff Portal
Faculty and Staff can complete the UNITE series by registering for any of the workshops via HR Cornerstone System and then attending through the Fall and Spring semesters. Faculty and Staff will be provided with certificates of completion for each course to be placed in employee files.
